Overview

Midnite, launched in 2020 as a next‑generation esports and sports betting platform, delivers a sleek, mobile‑first experience built around modern design and fast performance. The app focuses on esports, football, and in‑play betting, supported by sharp odds, intuitive navigation, and rapid withdrawals. It provides a streamlined, tech‑driven platform designed for bettors who want clean interfaces, quick bet execution, and reliable same‑day payouts. It currently sits at a whooping 4.7/5 rating with 7.3k reviews in iOS app store - a testament to its popularity and user satisfaction.

Ease of Use — ⭐⭐⭐

Midnite app's interface is structurally similar to most other modern betting apps. It features the most popular sports (football, horse racing), featured matches, In-Play, My Bets, Rewards, and the Find functionality above the fold - all accessible in one tap.

Navigation Facts

  • Total actions to reach Football: 1
  • Total actions to reach Horse Racing: 1
  • Total actions to reach Rewards: 1
  • Writer's review: Very convenient

Deposit and Withdrawal

The deposit page is directly accessible from the homepage in one action, by tapping the conveniently-located big white Deposit button at the top right of the screen. Upon tapping it, you'll be brought to your deposit page where a default amount of £10 is already entered for you.

The withdrawal page can be accessed from the Withdraw tab in the deposit page. The app cleverly groups both deposit and withdrawal intentions together - an intuitive design. Once again, there is already a preset amount of £10, but feel free to enter your own amount.

  • Total actions to initiate Deposit: 3
  • Total actions to initiate Withdraw: 3
  • Overall difficulty: Very Easy

Homepage content

The homepage features a carousel of news events and premade Bet Builders, followed by a couple of feature matches also in a scrollable carousel. This allows a lot of content to be packed in the screen, and users can simply scroll horizontally that interests them.

Scrolling down, you can see price boosts of popular Bet Builders, as well as carousel of upcoming horse racecards. Further down, you get to browse your usual upcoming popular matches.

You can also search for teams or players. Tap the Find button near the top left bar from your homepage.

Responsiveness

The app is generally responsiveness, and feels very modern. From a freshly rebooted iPhone, time between me pressing my app icon to the display of homepage took a mere 1.9s. However, there seems to be no native authentication (e.g., FaceID, Auto Sign-In). I've previously mentioned in our review of Paddy Power that this is not necessarily a good thing to default to, as people with underage kids will need to be especially careful of not letting their kids place accidental bets, which can become a financial and legal disaster.

Navigating between pages averaged between 0.8s-2.8s, depending on whether the content has been loaded previously. The UI clearly shows that content for a page is loading as elements are loaded, and as a user I never felt that the app got stuck at any point in time.

UX Facts

  • Time to reach homepage: 1.9s
  • Average page loading speed: 1.2s
  • Overall responsiveness: Good

Customisation

There are no major customisation options (e.g., light mode), and the app is dark mode by default, with a dark and green theme.

Notably, there isn't (or I couldn't) find a way to favorite or pin sports. The developers may argue that most bettors almost exclusively use football and horse racing, and they are probably right, but in a landscape where almost everyone has the favoriting feature implemented, I think you should too.

Regardless, the app has the search functionality, so finding your favorite sport isn't that big of an issue. However, compared to a favorites/ pin/ bookmark feature, search requires more actions (at least 4), and when you're accessing something very frequently, this really adds up from a user experience point of view.

Placing a bet

To place a bet, tap a selection. This opens your Betslip and adds the selection. The app defaults to a £10 stake, and you can click Place bet to place your bet instantly.

Navigation Facts

  • Total actions to place a normal Bet: 2
  • Overall Difficulty: Very Easy

Placing a Bet Builder bet

Aside from premade bet builders, you can access the Bet Builder tab of each match via the match's page. After selecting a match, tap the Bet Builder tab near the top of the match's page. You can then pick your selections, which adds them to your Betslip. As usual, the default stake is always selected for you in your Betslip.

Navigation Facts

  • Total actions to place Bet Builder bet: 5
  • Overall Difficulty: Very Easy

Placing an accumulator bet

When you pick multiple selections from different events, there will be an appropriate tab for your accumulator that appears in your Betslip (Double for 2 selections, Treble for 3).

Navigation Facts

  • Total actions to place Accumulator bet: 4
  • Overall Difficulty: Very Easy

Promotions

Interestingly, there isn't any conventional Promotions page like most other betting apps these days. However, Midnite has a rewards system called Bet Club, which is accessible via the Rewards button at the bottom right from homepage.

The Bet Club rewards users who place qualifying bets with free bets (Bet & Get) for the week, and is refreshed every week. These offers are generally decent, though you'll need to remember to Opt-in first.

  • Total actions to reach Rewards: 1
  • Overall Difficulty: Very Easy

How to use free bets

In the same Rewards page, you can see your current available free bets (called Vouchers). It is kinda odd to call it a different name, but it is what it is.

If you have free bets, after adding applicable selections to your Betslip, there will be voucher icon for you to pick your free bet.

Minimum Deposit — £5

The minimum deposit is £5, making it accessible for casual bettors.

Offers & Promotions — ⭐⭐☆

Midnite provides a decent sign-up offer for new customers, and a weekly gamified Bet Club that are essentially Bet & Get offers. Here's a list of offers I've seen:

  • Bet & Get offers — welcome bonus, Bet Club etc.
  • Price boosts — enhanced winnings on bet builder bets.
  • Acca boosts — enhanced winnings on accumulator bets.
  • and more...

Free Bets In Detail

I started my journey with Midnite through a decent welcome offer that gave a combination of free single bets, bet builders, and accas — a great way to get new users to try out each of the main betting features.

However, other than Midnite's own Bet Club where you can get weekly free bets (singles, bet builders, accas) after opting-in and making qualifying stakes, I have never seen any other offers or promotions, which is somewhat disappointing.

Below is my table of values of free bets and offers that I got to enjoy over a month.

Withdrawal Speed — ⭐⭐⭐

Withdrawals are typically processed between instant to a few working days for most payment methods.

In my own experience, withdrawal to my debit Mastercard took exactly 15 minutes on a Wednesday morning. That's even faster than the time I take to finish my daily cup of coffee!

Almost all UK-licensed bookmakers, including Midnite, restrict withdrawals to previously used payment methods to comply with UK regulations.

Overall Value — ⭐⭐⭐

Midnite's native mobile app showcases a responsive user experience that's coupled with an intuitive interface, and is generally bug-free.

It has an in-built search functionality to compensate for the lack of a bookmarking feature which was sufficient for an average bettor like me.

Midnite is currently offering a decent welcome offer for new UK customers. We only include the best offers that are straightforward, easy to claim, and genuinely useful for new bettors:
